Experienced and flexible project management professional with strong technical background. I have 20+ years of experience in High-tech innovations/product development, and more than 13 years experience in leading complex projects. I have PRINCE2 Foundation Project Management certificate. I have led the following kinds of projects:
- High-tech product development and Innovation projects
- Customer delivery projects with budgets of several tens of millions of Euros
- Internal improvement projects
- Grant (public subsidy) projects – applying, initiation, coordination, closure.
Additionally, I have experience e.g. on the following areas:
- Process development, epecially processes related to project management
- Project portfolio management – project scoping, business case definition, prioritization, management approvals
- Product owner role for Agile software/algorithms development teams
- I’ve led projects in waterfall, Agile (& Scaled Agile) and hybrid models
- I have experience on working in a startup/scaleup company, as well as a huge multinational corporation with an established quality management system- I can adjust my ways of working to anything in between these
- I have worked for a long time in a health-tech company, and I’m familiar with requirements that the regulatory aspects set to product development projects (Design Controls)
- I have been working with GDPR compliant personal data collection for training datasets for AI models – and supported launching AI based products that were created using the datasets

- Customer delivery project of a full on-site Quantum computer to an HPC center. Budget tens of millions of Euros.
- Customer Co-development project for a tailored Quantum processor
- Product development program for developing several new hardware modules and their related firmware, as well as integration to the operating software for a Quantum computer system
- Development and release of a new Quantum computer product
- Release of AI based product for Radiation Oncology; I was in charge of the data collection for the training data of the AI, as well as for supervising the team of AI scientists that created the AI model
- Release of a new product version of Magnetic resonance guided High Intensity Focused Ultrasound System (SW, HW + their integration)

My educational background:
I have a doctoral degree in Experimental Physics, as well as a bachelor’s degree in business. After my Doctoral thesis defence in 2005, I started my career in high-tech industry and have ever since been working in various roles in both expert positions and leadership positions, especially related to project management.
My working languages are English and Finnish; However, I also speak Swedish and German fluently and if needed, I can pretty quickly pick up the required professional vocabulary to extend my working languages to these languages as well. I can also read texts in French.
